Store Policies

Our goal is to ensure every customer is satisfied with their purchase. We offer exchanges, repairs (when applicable), or refunds according to the policies below. If you have any questions, please contact us — we’re happy to help.


General Return Policy

  • Returns accepted within 30 days of the original purchase date.

  • Items must be unused, in original condition, and accompanied by the original receipt.

  • Refunds are issued using the same payment method as the original purchase.

Check Payments

  • Returns on purchases paid by check will be processed 5–7 business days after the date of purchase, or once the check has cleared.

  • Refunds will be issued by check.

Returns Without a Receipt

  • Store credit only will be issued for unused items returned without a receipt.


Defective Merchandise

  • Defective items may be exchanged within 30 days with the original receipt.

  • Some items (listed below) will be inspected for attempted repair prior to approving an exchange.

Items Requiring Inspection Before Exchange:

  • Swimming pool robots

  • Automatic pool cleaners

  • Pool heaters

  • Hot tubs

  • Pumps and filters

Exchange Conditions

  • Defective items will be exchanged for the same product.

  • If the same item is unavailable, a comparable item of equal or greater value will be provided.

  • Some defective products may be repairable in-store, depending on manufacturer guidance.

Manufacturer Warranties

  • When applicable, customers must follow the manufacturer’s warranty process.

  • Warranty paperwork included with the product should be retained for future use.


Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable Items

For safety, hygiene, and product-integrity reasons, the following items are final sale:

  • Chemicals

  • Fuses and light bulbs

  • Electrical parts (exchanges only; no refunds)

  • Inflatables, including manufacturer-defect situations (exchanges only)

  • Winter covers with manufacturer defects (handled directly through the manufacturer)


Special-Sized or Measurement-Dependent Products

Products purchased in the wrong size due to inaccurate or estimated customer measurements are subject to the following:

  • Winter Covers:

    • Manufacturer defects must be handled directly with the manufacturer.

    • “Wrong size” exchanges will incur a 25% repackaging fee.

  • Hot Tub & Pool Filter Cartridges (unpackaged):

    • “Wrong size” exchanges will incur a 25% repackaging fee.

  • Hot Tub Covers:

    • No exchanges or refunds for covers ordered in the wrong size due to incorrect customer measurements.


Liquid Pool / Spa Chemicals

Please transport these chemicals carefully! These chemicals WILL permanently stain / damage your vehicle’s interior! This includes ALL liquid chemicals, including Sodium Hypochlorite (liquid chlorine.)

  • PLEASE inspect all bottles / drums before loading!

  • DO NOT allow bottles / drums to tip-over in your vehicle!

  • DO NOT allow bottles / drums or their contents to come in contact with skin, clothing, carpeting, upholstery, plastic or metal!
  • WE DO NOT recommend putting these bottles / drums on the seat of your vehicle!
  • PLEASE ask us for a bag or a box for added protection!
  • Pools & Cues & Spas, Too can not be held responsible for ANY damage or injury caused by chemical spillage, seepage or fumes before, during or after transportation in your vehicle!
  • Pools & Cues & Spas, Too can not be held responsible for how chemical bottles / drums are placed in any vehicle!
  • It is the purchaser’s responsibility for proper loading & securing of items to help prevent damage or injury!

Non-Returnable /

Gift Cards / Gift Certificates

  • No refunds on gift card or gift certificate purchases.

  • Original receipt is required to replace a lost, stolen, or damaged gift card.

  • We are not responsible for unauthorized use of gift cards or gift certificates.


Order Cancellations

  • Orders canceled after 3 business days are subject to a 15% restocking fee.


Returned Checks

  • Returned (“bounced”) checks will incur a $30 fee.


Items Left for Service

  • We are not responsible for loss or damage to any item(s) left at the store for more than six (6) months.


Liability Disclaimer

  • Once a product, chemical, or item leaves our store, we are not liable for any property damage, misuse, or injuries related to how it is loaded, secured, or transported.

  • Customers are solely responsible for following all manufacturer safety guidelines and applicable local regulations.
